This website is dedicated to documenting my reviews on every film I watch. All reviews are objectively correct at all times, except when I go back and change the review. There are a few rules that I follow while watching/reviewing these films:

Absolutely no spoilers (apart from the description) in all reviews. However, themes and other elements may be talked about

While I take the era in which the movie was made into account, movies that have aged poorly will not be saved from a bad review

I do not review documentaries, TV series, or other non-films, with few exceptions
I hope that this site may serve as a tool for others to change their opinions on films they enjoy. Read below for more information regarding the nature of my review system.
THE SCORING SYSTEM:
I use an 11-point scale for my reviews. 0 stars is the worst, 5 the best. I attempt to group films such that a bell curve would form centered around 2.5 stars. Note that all scores of 3 stars or higher are considered a positive review.

SUBCATEGORIES:
In my reviews, I include ratings of subcategories with their own scores. Below is a brief description of the subcategories I use and what each one is broadly referring to. Note that the subcategory score has absolutely no impact on the final score, and is not mulled over nearly as much.
STORY: plot, pacing, writing, act structure, climax
CHARACTERS: dialogue, character moments, personality, likeability
ACTING: line delivery, believability, emotion
VISUALS: cinematography, lighting, CGI, animation, coloring, set/costume design
AUDIO: movie soundtrack, ambient sounds, sound mixing
OTHER: quality of specific genre of movie, such as action/horror/romance/thrill/comedy
