MailChimp Publishes Free email marketing Benchmarks for Small Business
MailChimp, an email marketing service run by The Rocket Science Group, analyzed over 30 million emails sent by its small business customers, and posted campaign stats such as “average open rate, click rate, bounce back rate, unsubscribe rate, and spam complaint rate.” The stats are sorted by industry, so that restaurants, churches, schools, non-profits, and small businesses can compare their email marketing efforts with others in their industry.
